We understand. Here's everything you need to know about deleting your Vows2Vintage account.
How to Delete Your Account
In the Mobile App
- 1Open the Vows2Vintage app
- 2Go to Profile → Settings
- 3Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- 4Review the information and tap Continue
- 5Enter your password to confirm
- 6Enter the 6-digit code sent to your email
- 7Your deletion will be scheduled
On the Web
- 1Log in at vows2vintage.com
- 2Go to Dashboard → Settings
- 3Click Delete Account
- 4Follow the confirmation steps
The same 6-digit email verification and 14-day grace period apply on both platforms.
What Happens to Your Data
Permanently Deleted
- Your profile information (name, bio, avatar)
- All your listings and their photos
- Your saved favorites
- Your shipping addresses
- Your browsing history and interactions
- Your data export files
Retained for Compliance
- Order history (required for tax and dispute resolution)
- Transaction records (financial compliance requirements)
- Messages in conversations (shown as "Deleted User" to protect other parties' records)
We retain this information to comply with legal obligations and protect all users involved in transactions.
14-Day Grace Period
When you confirm your deletion request, your account enters a 14-day grace period. During this time:
- You can still log back in to cancel the deletion
- Your listings will be hidden from the marketplace
- Simply logging in will automatically cancel your deletion request
After 14 days, your account and data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Before You Delete
Export Your Data
Download a complete copy of all your information before deleting. Go to Settings → Export My Data in the app.
Complete Active Orders
You cannot delete your account while you have pending, confirmed, or shipped orders. Please complete or cancel them first.
