Vows 2 Vintage LLC
Vows 2 Vintage LLC is committed to making our marketplace usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of building an inclusive community.
1. Our Commitment
We are working to make our website and applications accessible in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Unruh Civil Rights Act. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at Level AA.
Our goal is that people using assistive technology, including screen readers, voice recognition software, screen magnification, and alternative input devices, can find, understand, and use our marketplace.
2. What We Are Working Toward
- Semantic HTML that gives assistive technology a clear page structure
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Color contrast that meets the Level AA ratio for text and interface components
- Full keyboard operability for every interactive element, with a visible focus indicator
- Labels on every form field and button, and error messages that identify the field and describe the problem
- A logical heading order and consistent page structure
- Consistent, predictable navigation
- Responsive design that supports zoom to 200 percent and device rotation without loss of content or function
- Captions on video content we produce
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
3. How We Test
We are putting regular accessibility testing in place. It includes manual testing of key tasks, such as searching, buying, listing an item, and opening a claim, using keyboard-only navigation and screen readers. We are adding automated accessibility checks to our release process. We aim to complete a full review at least once a year and after any significant redesign.
4. Known Limitations
Some areas do not yet fully meet our target. We are working on these:
- Color contrast. Some text and interface elements do not yet meet the Level AA contrast ratio. We are working through them.
- Automated checks. Automated accessibility checks are not yet part of our release process. We are adding them.
- Seller-created content. Listings, photographs, and descriptions are written by independent sellers. Alternative text for seller photographs may be missing or unhelpful. We encourage sellers to describe their photographs and are working to improve this.
- Third-party components. Payment forms, shipping interfaces, and other embedded tools are provided by third parties and their accessibility is not fully within our control. We raise issues with those providers.
- New features. Newly released features may have gaps that we correct as they are identified.
5. Compatibility
We aim for our site to work with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge, and with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. Keeping your browser and assistive technology up to date gives the best experience.
6. Tell Us About a Problem
If you have difficulty using any part of our marketplace, please tell us. We want to hear about it and we will help.
- Email: hello@vows2vintage.com with the subject line "Accessibility"
- Telephone: (949) 627-8692
- Mail: Vows 2 Vintage LLC, 25422 Trabuco Road, STE 105-356, Lake Forest, CA 92630
It helps if you can tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, what happened, and what browser and assistive technology you were using.
We acknowledge accessibility reports within 3 business days and aim to respond substantively within 10 business days. Where a fix will take longer, we will tell you our plan and timeline. If you need help completing a purchase or a listing in the meantime, contact us and we will assist you directly.
7. Ongoing Work
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We track and prioritize reported issues alongside other work, and we will update this Statement as our testing and fixes progress.
